We teach three critical skills that bring out the champion in every kid by sharing the story of NED, whose name is also an acronym.
These three simple principles can make a profound difference in every student, as well as create a strong impact on the culture of your entire school. By the time the assembly is dismissed, students will know that there is a Champion inside of everyone!
One of our sweet little girlies got chosen to go up and answer some questions. She was stinkin' cute and hilarious!
Nothing gets passed her. :)
He used a yo-yo and magic tricks as a visual lesson for the children. And let me tell you, they will NOT forget the yo-yos. The assembly is free, but they set up their fancy yo-yos and other accessories to sell. The kids at our school bought a surprising amount of yo-yos.
If any of you are considering some exciting assemblies for your schools, I highly recommend this one!

I second your opinions about Ned! We had the same assembly two years ago and the kids loved it. Our assembly was mid-year, so for the rest of the year, the kids brought their yo-yo's to recess... they were fascinated by them!! The message of the assembly live on for awhile, too!
