100th Day

I am slightly behind in the blogging world thanks to serious illness. I was lucky enough to get the flu, strep, and pink eye all at once! Oh the joys of teaching first grade... :)

We celebrated our 100th day of school on February 11th. I felt so bad to leave this crazy day to my student teacher and a substitute, but I was just too sick to go to school. They survived stealing and biting and ended up doing great!

Some of the activities included

100 poem

Gluing 100 items to a paper.

The kids were told to bring 100 small items to school, and then sorted them into groups of 10. The two pages were glued together and then taken home.

100 days crown

We made a necklace with 100 fruit loops. After every 10, they put a star.

They made a portrait of how they will look when they are 100.

I also made a 100 words paper, but we never got to it.

All in all, it looks like it was a fun and CRAZY day!
