Last week in math, we learned about the sums of 10. I love teaching this, because there are so many fun activities to do! My two favorites are the sums of 10 rainbow and dice game.
Together we make a rainbow connecting sums of 10. I guide them through this with pencil first, then I let them color in their rainbows. Usually I do these on the long paper, but since I wanted them to fit in their scrapbooks, I shrunk it down.

The children love dice games, so of course they were happy to play this one {see instructions below}. It was a little confusing at first, so we played it all together with the giant yellow dice one day, then with partners the next. It was a great time!

I love the pic of Gabe! ha He looks so happy! Tell the kids I miss them!
I love this idea. I just taught this a couple days ago. I still have some kiddos that could use some small group instruction and this is perfect.
